The Majestic Theater
The Majestic Theater
Bridgeport Art Festival 2012
We were commissioned by the Art Cultural Council and the city Bridgeport to create a mural to revitalize the historic Majestic Theater in downtown Bridgeport Ct.
The Bridgeport Arts Fest is a community celebration of local and original arts, artists, makers, and performers that happens In downtown Bridgeport Ct.
As a cultural tribute to the beautifully designed Neo-Renaissance style theater by architect Thomas W. Lamb we developed a theatric mural with a admit one admit all Concession stand an encore bow with roses on stage and a back drop depicting the theater seating curtains and a nod to the rumors of hauntings seen in the Majestic theaters while it was abandoned with the ghostly girl tending the film projector along with the octopus tentacles creeping out of the dark door ways. This was a fun project raising awareness to restore the beautifully designed Majestic Theater.
